First, I want to say how excited I am that my blog is up and running. I hope it helps to keep everyone in the loop as to what is going on in our classroom. Just a reminder that there is no spelling list this week, and that the poetry unit homework is due Oct. 15. If you could send a copy of the poem or email it to me that would be great!
Important dates to remember:
October 18-22 is the book fair in the school library. Please try to stop in and check it out.
October 19 Picture day.
October 21 Heart Day. On this day, we drop everything and read from 2:15-2:45. If you would like to come read with your child you are more than welcome too.
October 22 Grandparent Day. Grandparents are invited to come eat breakfast and read with their grandchild.
October 28 Red Ribbon Week kicks off. More info on this to come.
November 10 McTeacher Night at the Chubbuck McDonalds from 5pm-7pm. Come get dinner and watch your teachers work. McDonalds gives a portion of the proceeds from the night back to the school.
November 24-26 No School
