There is a lot going on at Ellis this week! The book fair starts Monday. Please come in and take a look at all the wonderful books on display. Picture day is on Tuesday, please check your child's Friday folder for the picture day flyer and payment envelope. The 21st is HEART day, where you can come and read with your child from 2:15-2:45, and the 22nd is Grandparents day, where grandparents can come and have breakfast and read with their grandchild. These activities will be a lot of fun, so please try to make it.

This week our story is called Henry and Mudge and the Starry Night. We will be talking about stars, camping, and nature. It is also a new six week block, so there are new A.R. goals for each child. We will  be doing a lot of reading to ensure we make our goals.

Our fall party will be on October 29th at 12:50. We are asking that you please send a bag of wrapped candy to be used at the party. You can also send special treats for the class to share if you would like. We will be playing games and doing crafts. If you would like to help, or have a fun idea, please let me know. We would love to have the help!
