It's hard to believe that it is almost February! This month, we took the IRI and did GREAT! We are making great progress and I am very proud of how hard second graders are working. Also, the AR party was a blast. The students had a lot of fun eating snacks and playing games. Thank you to those of you that sent in snacks to share.
In math we have started adding two digit numbers, which is a huge jump. In reading, our story this week is called The Great Ball Game. Our phonics focus is 'oa' and 'ow' words.
Here are some important dates to remember in February:
14th- 100th day of school, and Valentine parties.
17th- Spring pictures and class pictures
21st- No School
