Week of November 15, 2010

McTeacher Night was a HUGE success. Thank you for coming and showing your support for Ellis!
This week red folders will be sent home, as well as one Phonics Reader on Monday. AR goals are due Monday November, 22. Please ask your child if they have met their goal. Our AR party will be combined with a Thanksgiving Feast on November 23. Please let me know if you are not able to bring in the food assignment that was in your child's Friday Folder. We will be having a game party. Students can bring in any non-electronic games to share withtheir friends. We will enjoy our feast while we play games. Wednesday, November 24 is a Record Day, so there is no school for students. Picture retakes will be Tuesday, November 30th.

One last note, second grade has followed in the footsteps of first and fourth grade and banned silly bands. They were becoming too much of a distraction in the classroom. Thanks for understanding!
